Argos release veteran Canadian Football League lineman

The Toronto Argonauts released veteran offensive lineman Mike Mihelic on Tuesday.
The six-foot-five, 310-pound guard was in his 10th CFL season and second stint with the Argos. But a finger injury limited the 33-year-old Toronto native to just four games with the club this year.
Mihelic also signed with Toronto as a free agent June 19, 2001 but was released a month later. He signed with Hamilton on Sept. 7.
Toronto acquired Mihelic and future considerations from Hamilton for quarterback Marcus Brady and linebacker Tawambi Settles prior to the 2004 season. The Argos went on to win the Grey Cup that year.
Mihelic began his CFL career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 1997 before being released prior to the 2000 season. He signed with Hamilton shortly after but was released Nov. 12.
