Former Canadian Football League Player Hired At UNM is reporting that UNM football coach Mike Locksley has hired former Tennessee quarterback Tee Martin as an assistant coach.

Martin helped lead the Volunteers to the national championship during the 1998 season. Martin played three years in the NFL from 2000-02 and last played professionally in the Canadian Football League from 2004-05.

Martin was the passing game coordinator at Morehouse College in 2006, coached quarterbacks at North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, Ga., in 2007, and has worked for the last two years at the nationally regarded Elite 11 Quarterback Camp for top prep prospects.

Locksley said earlier this week he hopes to announce his staff sometime this weekend.
