Former Canadian Football League Coach Named Head Coach At West Virginia
Dennis Creehan has been appointed head football coach at West Virginia Wesleyan, replacing longtime Bobcats coach Bill Struble, who stepped down after 26 seasons in Buckhannon.
Prior to joining Wesleyan, Creehan served as the defensive coordinator of the Hamilton Tiger Cats of the Canadian Football League.
Creehan has been coaching since 1971, starting as a defensive coordinator for Keystone Oaks High in his hometown of Pittsburgh. He has coached at each of the NCAA levels and instructed a number of future NFL players.
