Toronto, Ontario - The Canadian Football League announced today that Ron Rooke of the Calgary Stampeders has been fined for his public statements made earlier in the week which were in violation of CFL tampering bylaws. The Commissioner's office, with the Senior Vice President of Football Operations, investigated allegations and following discussions with the Stampeders' organization, imposed a fine yesterday consistent with a breach of this policy.
