Bachelor QB retires from Canadian Football League
MONTREAL — Former Giants and 49ers quarterback Jesse Palmer has retired from the Canadian Football League to pursue a broadcasting career in the United States.
The Ottawa native informed the Montreal Alouettes of his decision this week, coach and general manager Jim Popp said today.
Palmer spent the second half of last season on the Alouettes’ developmental roster after five seasons in the NFL with New York and San Francisco.Also known for his appearance on the TV reality show “The Bachelor,” Palmer has worked as a football analyst for Fox.
