(Calgary) – The Calgary Stampeder Football Club is pleased to announce that they have already broken the 10,500 season ticket barrier for the 2005 season. As of 8:00am this morning the Stampeders have sold 10,592 season tickets. Comparing numbers to last year for the same day, the club sits 919 ahead of last year’s pace.
The club is looking to exceed the 2004 season ticket base of 23,152 which was 1,454 higher than the 2003 total of 21,698. In 2004 the Stampeders finished the year attracting 273,608 fans over nine regular season home games, an average of 30,401 per game.
Fans can now purchase season tickets through the Stampeder Ticket Office at 289-0258.
