Former Canadian Football League Player Joins IFL

CHICAGO–The son of Bears Hall of Fame running back Walter Payton has signed to play indoor football with the Chicago Slaughter.

Jarrett Payton signed for the 2010 season to play running back for the Slaughter, which will begin Indoor Football League play on Feb. 27.

Jarrett Payton briefly played for the Tennessee Titans and last played for the Argonauts of the CFL.
